The Cyber City is getting a new lifeline. With the launch of the Rapid Metro slated for Thursday, this commercial nerve centre of the city, home to some of the biggest Fortune 500 companies, is finally having its prime infrastructural concern addressed – lack of a public transport network.
Transporting to and from the Cyber City has always been close to nightmarish for over a lakh professionals working here. Driving down in the mad rush of morning or evening traffic is never for the faint-hearted.
And the thousands who use the Delhi Metro to get here are left at the mercy of the autowallahs invariably waiting outside the station gates. More info
