Delhi Metro to halt services at 8pm on Diwali

Delhi Metro will stop services at 8 p.m. on Sunday on account of Diwali, said a official release Friday.

1The last of Metro train on Sunday will start at 8 p.m. from the terminal stations of all the six lines – Dilshad Garden-Rithala, Jahangirpuri-HUDA City Centre, Noida City Centre-Dwarka Sector-21, Yamuna Bank-Vaishali, Inderlok-Mundka, Central Secretariat-Badarpur Metro station.

“Metro train services will run as usual for rest of the day on Diwali from 6 a.m. onwards,” said the release. More info

 

The Delhi Metro will also keep two extra standby trains on each line to handle the passenger rush on the occasion of Bhai Duj Nov 5, if required.
